Data downloads
Every page on this site is statically generated from JSON documents produced by our ingestion pipeline. Those documents are published here unchanged, the same bytes the pages are built from, so a figure on a page and its JSON source can never disagree. No API keys, no sign-up: plain HTTP GET.
Endpoints
Three documents per market, refreshed with each daily ingest.

EU markets additionally serve /data/{market}/holders.json, every fund's full disclosure history per company, as published by the register (exit disclosures included).
Outside the US, every company page also serves its full time series as plain CSV at /{market}/company/{slug}/history.csv (columns: position_date, net_short_pct, revised; Australia's date column is trade_date). Follow the "Download CSV" link on any company page.
Each market above also has two RSS feeds: /{market}/daily.xml (one item per publication day: the day's biggest rises and falls and first-time disclosures) and /{market}/feed.xml (the weekly digest). Subscribe in any RSS reader; the RSS feeds page lists them all.
US short interest is published as pages only, with no JSON or CSV download. Every figure we hold for a US company is shown on its page. The source files are available from FINRA.
What each document contains
- league.json
- Every company ranked by current disclosed short position: rank, slug, issuer, ISIN, percentage, position date, and 1/5/20-trading-day changes.
- movers.json
- Top risers and fallers by percentage-point change over 1, 5 and 20 trading days.
- site-meta.json
- Dataset metadata: last updated date, day count, company count, and whether the market is in rehearsal or live mode.
Percentages are of issued share capital, as published by each regulator; we never recompute them. Every figure carries its position date (the day the position existed), which is not the day it was published. Where disclosure thresholds apply (the UK aggregate and the EU named registers), the figures are floors, not a census. Revised figures are reconciled daily; see the methodology for the exact rules, and the glossary for terms.
