HowShorted has no accounts, no newsletters and no forms. We do not collect, store or sell personal information.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving measurement tool that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track you across sites. It shows us aggregate page views and performance data only.

On-device storage

The company search box remembers the last five companies you visited from it, so it can offer them as shortcuts. That list lives only in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection logs (IP address, user agent) to deliver and secure the service, per Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or retain these logs.

Advertising

If advertising is introduced, it will be clearly distinguishable from data, will never appear inside data tables or on the methodology page, and any consent requirements will be handled through a certified consent management platform before any advertising cookies are set. This policy will be updated first.
