- No. This list records what happened, not why: heavy short interest and a later delisting can share a cause (deteriorating business), but many heavily shorted companies recover, and many delistings (mergers, going private) have nothing to do with short sellers. Nothing here is a prediction.

- FINRA's consolidated short interest archive back to December 2017, with each settlement's symbols resolved against dated SEC ticker records, so a company that later delisted keeps its history even when its ticker was reassigned. The methodology page describes the matching.
