What the register showed

At the start of this window the online retailer barely registered: 0.70% of its share capital on 8 Jan 2021, and a low of 0.69% on 29 Jan 2021, which is close to the 0.5% threshold below which nothing was published at all.

The position was built through 2022 and reached 9.46% on 26 Oct 2022. It then fell back, rose again in the autumn of 2023 and ended the window at 4.55% on 27 Dec 2023.

The 2022 and 2023 record

In February 2022 the company moved its listing from AIM to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Its full-year results were published in October 2022 alongside a new plan for the business and changes to its financing arrangements; the sum of named positions reached its window high in the days that followed, on 26 Oct 2022.

The company agreed further financing arrangements during 2023. The register shows the position partly reduced in the first half of that year and rebuilt in the second.

What this measure is

Every figure on this page is the sum of individually named positions of 0.5% or more of share capital, as the FCA published them each day before 13 July 2026. Positions between 0.1% and 0.5% were reported to the regulator but never made public, so the chart is a lower bound throughout. The FCA's post-2026 aggregate series for ASOS PLC, which is measured differently, is on the company page.
