Position holder

The entity named on an EU register as holding a disclosed net short position: usually an asset manager or hedge fund, not the individual trader.

Named registers list the legal entity that holds the position, typically a fund management company acting for several funds. Our holder pages group each entity's positions across the markets we cover, and the same manager may appear under several legal names (a UK LLP, a US LLC, a Cayman fund) that we link together where the name makes the relationship clear.
