Reportable Shares List (RSL)

The FCA's list of the shares within scope of the UK short-selling regime; a company must be on it for positions in it to be reportable.

The FCA maintains the list of shares whose principal trading venue is in the UK, which are the shares the UK regime covers. Additions and removals change what can be reported: a company leaving the list stops appearing in the data even if shorts in it remain open, which is not the same as the positions closing.
